Methodology

I help clients who are experiencing a shift in their life, location or career navigate those changes with confidence. I’m a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through the University of Georgia with a 97% success rate, where clients gained confidence after relocation, divorce, learning English as a Second Language (ESL), a career change and more within three months of partnering with me.

In addition to being a Certified Professional Coach, I am also a Certified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I was an English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor during my undergraduate studies at Saginaw Valley State University and also had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to volunteer as an ESL teacher in Mueang Chiang Rai.

Together, we will create a plan with tangible, easy-to-follow steps that are backed by evidence and expertise. My change management and agile project management background allows me to apply proven methodologies for my coaching clients with ease.

Experiencing change can feel isolating but in partnering with me, you will go from feeling stuck and uncertain to confident, connected and feel a clear sense of self. You deserve true happiness and newfound confidence on the other side of change.

Want to join me in feeling less stuck and more confident than ever before?

With over ten years of teaching, mentorship and change management experience, watching others grow in real-time is my passion. I help organizations, classrooms and individuals who have the desire to learn and change do just that.

My professional experience coupled with overcoming adversity in my personal life sets me apart from other coaches and teachers you see on social media. I believe everyone can accomplish anything they set their mind to, even when faced with difficult times.

Change is a science after all, and through partnering together, you will be able to navigate change with ease.

  • Having someone steady alongside you

Working with Cate is less like having advice tossed your way and more like having someone steady alongside you as you navigate changing life circumstances. Entering motherhood felt like life landed wrong side up, particularly in my professional life. Cate helped me face a challenging career path with curiosity and courage rather than confusion and fear. I hope others get a chance to cross paths with Cate at similar junctures, as I doubt they’ll regret it.

  • Convinced me that the role is essential

I have to admit, in my career I’ve both directly managed and been part of teams with marketing coaches and absolutely none of them convinced me that the role was essential. That said, Cate has completely changed my opinion of the role and she will leave incredibly big shoes to fill. Cate also brought a special energy, thoughtfulness, and professionalism to the team, making each of the meetings productive and worthwhile to attend.

  • Helped me stay motivated

I highly recommend Cate for anyone navigating a major career shift. I started working with her when I was facing the unknown of launching my own business, and Cate was essential in helping me stay motivated and disciplined during the early stages. She kept me on track with my goals and helped me make this transition a lot easier.

  • Considering backgrounds, levels & needs

Cate considers every classroom and school context, while taking students’ backgrounds, level and needs analysis into consideration. She then, thoughtfully, plans, designs and shows these incorporated into every lesson. I could tell that she’d done this sort of thing many times before!
